Warrior Poet: Matthew 28:18-20

Matthew 28:18-20:  Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Dear Warrior Poet,

Warrior Poet Book CoverIs it possible to be a disciple that does not “make disciples”? This is ultimately the question. To say you follow Jesus without making more followers is confused. Jesus speaks from a position of resurrected authority. Imagine being in His glorified presence and not taking seriously His command. If we are to be true disciples of Jesus it will lead to us making, not just converts, but replicating disciples. Are you are a disciple of Jesus? Are you a disciple that makes disciples? Who are you discipling?
