Friday evening I celebrated 20 years as the Pastor of Grace Point Church. I was overwhelmed with love, kindness and generosity. My family was blessed beyond belief. We watched and listened to God stories, and we remembered graces that we should have never forgotten.
When I was a young man just wrestling with which path to take, I stood long and looked down a road and told my Lord, “I want to do something with eternal significance. If it is to be in the church, I long to be in a real church, an Acts 2 type church. I don’t want to play church.”
God has given me the desires of my heart. I pastor Grace Point, a beautiful picture of the diversity, determination, focus, sacrifice and humble grace of the body of Christ. Your love poured out in gifts reflective of knowing me saturate my soul. My team who lives with me daily knows the good, the bad and the ugly and love me still, and that too is a gift. I have a few great treasures in my life: my bride, my children and to be the pastor of Grace Point. When I reflect these things, I can’t help but know my father loves me.
