Watch Pastor Jeff Harris’ sermon from Sunday, February 14, 2016
“Be Like Jesus: Peace”

Key Question
Where do I find strength to battle anxiety and fear?

Key Verse
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)

Discussion Question
What are your greatest sources of anxiety? What lies does the enemy tell you in these areas to rob you of peace?
What does the Bible say is our ultimate source of peace? How can we have true peace and how can we rest in it daily?
Are there people in your life with whom you struggle to find peace? How could you build a bridge to reconciliation? What can you do to make sure you’re living at peace with all people as far as it depends on you?
In our polarized society, it can be a challenge to live at peace with those we may not see eye to eye with, whether that is politically, religiously, or relationally. How can you promote peace with others in your own heart and how can that be a witness of the Gospel to others?
What is Paul’s prescription for anxiety and worry?
